 GIVE ME SOME SUGAR

  • Sugaring is a natural form of hair removal dating back to ancient B.C

  • Sugar is warmed to body temperature so you will never get burned!

  • Have sensitive skin? No worries, sugar doesn't stick to live skin cells

  • Sugar paste can remove hair as short as 1/16th of an inch

  • Consistent sugaring gradually thins and reduces hair density over time

Have questions about sugaring other body parts?

BENEFITS OF SUGARING

SUGARING PROCESS

The sugaring process involves molding sugar against the natural direction of hair growth, allowing it to penetrate the follicle and envelop the hair. When removed in the natural direction of hair growth, this method minimizes the chances of hair breakage, ensuring effective removal from the root. This unique technique contributes to the long-term benefits of smoother, sparser hair growth.

HEY, SUGAR

Meet Deja, the heart and soul behind Serene Sugaring. Just 24 years old, Deja has been on her sugaring journey for 3 years.

Initially working with wax, Deja found her love for sugaring due to its gentleness on sensitive skin. In addition to her passion for esthetics, Deja is currently pursing a degree in Behavioral Health/Human Services, in hopes of establishing an after-school program for at-risk youth of Philadelphia.

Beauty school revealed my passion for being an esthetician, connecting with diverse people, and making them feel special. Despite my shyness, I come alive in the treatment room, where I love to chat and connect.

I'm just a girl following her passion, eager to spread joy through sugaring and make people happy.  My vision is to create a community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for helping others and giving back to the community we call home. Let's build something beautiful together!
